Winner of the 2010 Formula 3 Euroseries, Edo went on to build a reputation as one of the top competitors in the highly respected German DTM Touring Car Championship – finishing as runner-up in 2016 and taking a total of 10 wins, 27 podiums, and five pole positions from 114 starts in the series.
Edo joined Venturi in Season 4 where, in his first weekend of Formula E action in Hong Kong, he excelled despite his rookie status, taking P7 after charging through the field in the first race before flirting with victory in the second, leading the most laps in the race to eventually finish as runner-up.
In Season 5, Edo recorded Venturi’s first-ever race win at Formula E’s landmark 50th E-Prix in Hong Kong, while also recording a third-place finish in Mexico City.
Remaining with the squad in Season 6, Edo became Venturi’s most successful and experienced driver after surpassing 100 career points at the Mexico City E-Prix and starting his 33rd race in the series’ 2020 finale in Berlin.
